The ground is immediately on the left after Potters club. From Newark or the A1/A614 again on the A617 follow the signs for Rainworth. Just before the bypass, turn left at the roundabout, signed Rainworth Village. Turn right at the next mini-roundabout onto Kirklington Road. Pass the Sherwood PH and Sherwood Parade shops on the left and the ground is opposite the Miners' Welfare on the right. Parking is limited within the ground although ample on street parking is normally available in the vicinity of the Welfare and adjacent village hall.

THE WREN CONNECTION
So what's the connection with the wren then? Well, it's all down to local dialect. To all and sundry the pronunciation of the village would be "Rain-worth", ask many locals however, and the reply will be "Ren-neth", take the first syllable, change the spelling without changing the sound and there you go! No mystery as simple as that! There are several examples of clubs being nicknamed after birds.
